An Asteroids called [ Apophis] ,
after a mythical Egyptian demon, a god of darkness and destruction.
Apophis is the size of a 100-story skyscaper.
It weights about 20 bilion tons.
Speeding though space at 28,000 miles an hour,
10 times as fast as a bullet,
It carries almost as much energy as all the world's nuclear weapons combined..
On 13th April 2029, Friday,
this huge rock is likely to pass within 23,000 miles though a gravitational key of the planet surface.
Close enough of pass beneath the satellites in orbit around Earth and give us all a scare.
The small probability ( up to 2.7% ) that it would strike the Earth.
Possibility an impact Earth or Moon in 2029.
Luckily there is very little chance that Apophis will actually hit us,
but the problem for humanity is that in space there is always a bigger rock.
Some are over 10miles long. The size of Manhattan.
An asteroid this size hits the Earth every 100million years or so.
The last one stuck the Earth 65million years ago,
and probably was responsible for wiping out the dinosaurs.
We don't know when the next asteroid will strike,
but if it was big enough it could sterilize our planet.
I think this is our Final Hope.!~ our destiny are ended at There.!~
